In late 2013 I launched my new record label, Black Treacle Records, with the aim to be a launch pad for new talent. As part of the process I have drawn up contractual agreements and put together Press Releases, which has allowed me to engage further with social media - highlighting the importance of creating an online presence.
My aim is for people, who love and enjoy music, to say that Black Treacle has put out some great music - giving new artists the opportunity to work with a label focussed on its long-term future.
The first and latest release is a 5-track EP from the Liverpool based band ‘Edge Of Eden’. The band released their self-titled debut EP to coincide with the launch of Black Treacle Records and is available to listen in full on SoundCloud. The EP is also available to purchase as a digital download and is exclusively available from Black Treacle complete with a FREE bonus track, digital lyric booklet and EP artwork. The EP is also available via iTunes, Amazing Radio & Amazon. All tracks have been produced, recorded and mixed by James Enevoldson and myself at the studios in LIPA.
I am currently working on developing 2 new artists to be released later this year.
